The biocapacity adjusted economic growth. Developing a new indicator

The environment may constrain economic growth potential. In other words, cannot be pursued in spite of ecological limits any longer. Here we present an indicator adjusted by taking into account the current tendency national economies to overcome availability natural resources and dynamics. We combine two indicators: 1) Output Gap, a measure production capacity economy based on difference between actual potential GDP, as per cent GDP; 2) Ecological Footprint Biocapacity country, systemic indicators representing extent which country operates within or beyond limits. That combination gives rise Adjusted Economic Growth enables categorization countries assessment patterns line not with sustainability principles.
